Jan Burnham is a Certified Washington State Teacher, earning her certificate and B.S. in Sociology from Seattle Pacific University. She's taught primary grades the last 11 years and has also completed her Master's degree in Integrated Curriculum from City University.
Parents as partners has always been a theme in her instruction and she loves working side by side with the wonderful parents at Shorenorth. Jan is married and has two daughters who both attend the Room Nine Community School in Shoreline School District. She is active in volunteering at a crisis pregnancy shelter, at her church, and is a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children).
Lisa Painter is joining the Shorenorth team as the instructor for the Groovers class. She has a background in teaching children ages four through six and a Masters in teaching from the University of Washington.
As the oldest of four children and a mother herself, she has had a plethora of hands-on experience! Lisa is a passionate reader and really enjoys the community and camaraderie that co-ops provide.
